Scooter
We inherited Scooter in '95 when he was 10; he's now 15. He
was diagnosed as diabetic in the summer of 98 and went blind in Nov.
Scooter is the poster dog for Miniature Schnauzer problems.
cataracts (herietary - 10+ yrs - and diabetic - 2-1/2 yrs);
fatty blood and fatty lumps (huge!);
inflammatory bowel disease/pancreatitis;
maybe Cushings;still coming back from a stroke in early May.
He gets anywhere from 9 to 12 units of Humulin L bid
Scooter went to the Rainbow Bridge in October of 2000
