This is Stetson at 8 weeks  with my daughter June.. Stetson's Last Day - February 25, 2006 Stetson apparently had a heart attack. He died withing 20 seconds with me right there,at least I got to say goodbye. Here he is at 2 yrs with his pal Scooter..professional couch potato at a very young age! Candycat's Story March 17, 2006 I lost a friend today and wanted to share because she lived a full and long life..her name is Candycat.I got her when she was 4 wks old..she was a little barn cat of mine who lost a valiant battle against old age today!! I had to help her cross because she just wasn't going without a huge fight...tough but with the hugest eyes..melt your soul.Blind,senile.She was my shadow maker..I recently found her sitting on the stump making a perfect shadow on the barn,thus the pic..She now rests beside my Angel Stetson... Sue

With Sympathy 

They will not go quietly,
the pets who've shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know
their spirit still survives. 

Old habits still can make us
think we hear them at the door
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor. 

Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And,sometimes,coming home at night,
we miss them terribly. 

And although time may bring new friends
and a new food dish to fill,
That one place in our hearts
belongs to them...
and always will.
