|My Dexter has his angel wings
. . . .
July 21, 2005
Dexter came home with me last night & was stable. He
slept good and I gave him two breathing treatments during the night.
This morning, his oxygen saturation was low - meaning more oxygen.
His little heart has just had too much stress on it over the last week
and I knew that even adding medications would not give him the quality
of life he deserves. I helped Dexter to the Bridge this morning around
11 a.m. my sweet, sweet boy is in Heaven - I know greeted by all
my kids who have gone before and lots of other new friends.
I know he is no longer suffering, but I miss him so very much.
You did well my sweet boy. You are forever in my heart!
A Bridge Called Love
It takes us back to brighter years,
to happier sunlit days,
and to precious moments
that will be with us always.
And these fond recollections
are treasured in the heart
to bring us always close to those
from whom we had to part.
There is a bridge of memories
from earth to Heaven above...
It keeps our dear ones near us
It's the bridge that we call love.
