|My Clarissa has her angel wings
. . . .
July 22, 2005
Clarissa isn't diabetic anymore.
She sneaked off in her sleep Friday morning.
Clarissa came to us July 4, 2003, when I helped test a local breeder's
stock and brought her diabetics here. Clarissa was about six
at the time, and has survived the longest of any diabetic we've ever
staying bright and happy the whole time. She was never seriously
although she couldn't maintain her weight and had a hard time staying
hydrated without help. She just never seemed to notice, and never
spoil a day she could be enjoying.
You can see her little punkin face at
Thanks for keeping her in your prayers for the loveys.
Love and gratitude,
WITH ANGELS THEY PLAY
They haven't really been taken away.
They have only gone with the Angels to play.
They have been given wings with which to fly.
All their troubles have passed them by.
Their life in heaven now must start.
But we'll hold their memory in our hearts.
Nothing about them will be forgotten.
But now they sleep on billowy clouds of cotton.
